The Star Citizen Live Stream from Gamescom 2015 should be starting any second.....and oru special reporter Albert will be making regular reports!

If anyone is tempted by the Gamscom Retaliator that comes with 24 month insurance, don't buy it.  Buy the base Retaliator Hull and add the 2 torpedo bays - it works out the same price but comes with LTI instead.

OMG! That was so cool!

The presentation was down to CIG's usual hideous standards (they really should think about hiring someone who can put on a real show!)

For those who missed it, check out the videos below, but in summary:
  • Social Module should be out by the end of August, complete with Arc Corp customs, shops, bars and back alleys.
  • Star Marine should be out by the end of September.
  • Arena Commander 2.0, complete with multi-crew ships and large world maps (see video below).
  • Two new Star Citizen branded HOTASes, one entry-level (around $150) the other high-end (to compete with the likes of the Warthog), modular construction that will allow them to be attached to a new modular SC keyboard, and a new SC mouse.
  • The Vanduul Glaive is now flyable (but only in Arena Commander).
