Hello all,

I heard about this community in the comments of a PC Gamer Elite article.

I've browsed the forums a little and it seems like a nice group.

A little about me - I'm 32 and I live in Liverpool. A huge chunk of my gaming life was spent on WoW but I've given that up for now. I'm not massively into any one particular game at the moment but I've got GTA V, CS:GO, Elite Dangerous on the go at the moment. I'm not particularly good at any of them.

A lot of the people I play(ed) with online have sort of drifted off so I spend most of my time playing alone. Looking to change that

What sort of age group are you guys? Do you do meetups and stuff?

Welcome mate, we play all of those games together in one way or another, jump on the TS server and have a look around, jump in and say hi.

Yes we do meet, we organise 2 LAN parties a year.  And some other random meetup during the year as well.

We are a community not a clan, we all like to play games with people that like to play a certain way.  Not frag hunting but using tactics and communication.  We dont care about skill levels we care about attitude.  I hope that helps.

There are about 40 people who are on and off Elite right now and we're eagerly awaiting the new update.

The best hing to do is join our TS server any evening and look out for folks in the various channels. Add Albert as a friend in Elite and look for the group of the same name, that's where our fleet are connected but most often we have been in Open Play as a group.

Welcome mate.

Hop on the TS server and see what tickles your fancy. Our LAN is fairly soon now which is held 2 times a year and has community members from all over the UK and the rest of Europe attending. Its held in Cambridgeshire and we normally have a pretty good turn out of 60 or so for the weekend where we take over a hotel. I like to think we take over the town too with our outings to restaurants that pack the places to the rafters and 2 am trips to the kebab with stops at clubs on the way.

All age ranges in dMw from teenagers, to fathers (2 generations from the same family are often at the lans) and even grandparents as we have some older members.

Ability doesn't matter, only having fun, but there are tournaments for those who like to show off their skills.
