elite meet@ the lan

what interest is there for a elite meet in the bar at the october lan on the saturday afternoon from about 1pm onwards?

things that would be discussed are

1:horizons
2:becoming a community power in the power play
3:results of things that i will be looking at the dev session at EGX in sept.
4:and any other chat about the game.

please post if your interested and will be attending.

It's a fine idea Sneaky, but I think you need to talk to the LAN Admins as it will need to fit in with their competition schedule, and with the GL.

Do you intend to make it a public event? If it is then, obviously, we would need to get as many dMw players involved as possible so as not to embarrass ourselves. If it isn't then I'm not sure the number of active players attending would warrant it.

In any case, as TL has said, run it by Toby and Ninja if you haven't already done so.

Or rather than having a formal get together why not just sit together in the bar with a few drinks and chat about E:D.

I'm hoping that the update next week will ignite some interest in the game and by the time the LAN is upon us we'll have something to talk about over a beer.

How about we make it an internal to the LAN Elite and Beer session as Sn00ks says?
