There has been a bit of chatter on how the hell are we supposed to meet up if we are all in different starting areas? Well I found this that may (:g:) help?

My character is a different race from my friend, how do we meet up and quest together? Meeting up with your friend on the same home world is easy but does take a couple of steps. First of all, make sure you finish up the tutorial and get ported to your race's starter area. Once you've done that, press the'H' key to open your Hero window. On the last tab (PvP tab), there is an option to "Go to the Mists". Select that option, and you will be ported to the beginner PvP area.

Once you are at the beginner PvP area, head north towards Hall of Memories. You will want to reach the Asura gate at the top of the stairs to zone into the Hall of Memories.

Once you are in the Hall of Memories, look to your left for a purple/pink Asura gate, going through it will bring you to a city called Lion's Arch.
Once you are in Lion's Arch, you will land at the Asura portals in Fort Marriner. Head north and go to the set of portals in Grand Piazza. The Asura portals there will lead you to different cities. Each race has a place where you can then access that race's starting area.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Seems straightforward enough

So where shall we meet up?

I think that it may be better if we all get up to a specific level at our local cities first, just to get familiar with the game, and then nominate a meeting point?
How does level 10 sound?

Unless someone who knows a bit more about the game can chip in with any other suggestions?

Are you seeing the random group quests. I'm playing Charr and every now and then some world event starts where we all have to chip in and kill some invading army or monster. I believe the group stuff gets harder and harder as you level up? So far I've killed some giants, a mad shaman and died fighting back an enormous army of plant monster in Mordroth's Minion Invasion, which was insane fun and the best group PvE I've ever done.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

That's dyanmic content, and it's common in GW2.  There's a bunch  in every map, some leading to changes in factions and some leading to usually unavailable loot.

Like its been said, leveling and becoming familiar the game is paramount for now, the levels come easy as long as you're enjoying content you're getting experience for just about everything you do.

As for meeting up for group activities, lvl 25 unlocks the first dungeon called Ascalon Catacombs, or AC and it's a chunk of story we can participate in together in groups of 5. beside that, anyone below 25 could enjoy taking part in the myriad of activities like jump puzzles, and events, just invite eachother and meet up. Message me ingame if you want a overview of jump puzzles, I love them!
