With the server getting busy and a lot of people already playing and some starting up, we can all think of stuff we need.

So that is the reason i launched this topic so people can ask if they need something special build that they themselves can't build yet etc.

We all now know of the engram points, but there are to many things to pick from with the points you get, that in mind you can't craft/learn everything by yourself.
But with already some high level people playing on the server that have spend their points in some high level stuff and different stuff it might be an option to try and find out if they can help you out.
(keep in mind that the supply drops also drop blueprints so that you can use that to craft certain items)

For example, you just tamed a nice little dino but you arn't able to craft the saddle yet, then you can ask in here if someone is able to craft one or has a spare in storage that you might get.
Keep in mind that everything need mats to be crafted, some stuff like hides etc. most of the players have that in stock and arn't a problem, but when you get to the rarer recourses you might need to hand those to the crafter.

This way we can help everyone out where and when we can.

One quick thing to point out for those who don't know is, blueprints in supply drops can normally be better then items you unlock with the engram points. For example the normal engram for a hatchet is 100% durability with 10% damage where as you might find a ramshackle one or apprentice which will require more resources but will have more durability and damage on it. Just a quick point out

Only problem with that is quite often you need the lower engram before you can get the higher level ones so you have to pick them up anyway. For example, you can't get the wooden foundation without first getting the thatch.

Unless you have the blueprints what Roguetaylor is talking about. Items made out of blueprints are often better than the normal engram items.

Yea think I thought he was saying you don't need to buy lower engrams, Rogie never mentioned that so I'm talking poop. :) Good point Rogue, never knew that.

RogueTaylor

Yeah best way to describe it is you can learn the basic item from a engram but from a supply drop you can find a blueprint which can hold a basic engram or higher as shown here :
[edit | edit source]
-Primitive (Grey/White) may be equal to Engrams or 'slightly' better

-Ramshackle (Green)

-Apprentice (Blue)

-Journeyman (Purple)

-Mastercraft (Yellow)

-Ascendant (Red)

You find a red one your a god that item is so rare and so much stronger then the Normal blueprint or engram

RogueTaylor

So always get supply drops, the higher level one the better loot and better blueprints which really helps out us lower level players by a lot when we can make decent and advanced items like metal this gives us a big advantage as well as better armour like chitin armour

If it makes you feel any better, I'm not sure if its a server side setting for difficulty or what, but we have NEVER EVER seen higher quality than Ramshackle, and I've personally never ever seen a wild dino higher than level 35
Love is the one thing that transcends time and space.

Having higher level wild dinos would be good if that can be done in server settings?

Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

If the admins would like to research this then I will happily make the necessary changes.
