DMW Ark Town

As all the players that have joined the game have by now seen and even started building inside our little town.

Why do we have a little town there, when there is a whole island there open to explore etc.

Well first of, the founders of the tribe build a building there we call "the keep". Ever since my joining the tribe every new person has been welcome to that area to build their little house and level up.
Why, that is very simple: it is one of the saver area's to start and learn the tricks of the game.

As we have noticed the last few days has become a little weird (even for Ark) and Snokio decided to build a townwall to keep everyone save and sound.
The idea is super and it aint easy to complete a project like that on your own (others have already helped out, thank you).

Now a more concerning matter to that is that the wall aint working, the idea is great but the server just doesn't agree with the idea, as i have said before in Ark everything can change in seconds...
What some people, including myself have noticed that some weird things have been going on near and around the keep, which doesn't really make sense, the only thing that came out of that chat we had about it was that it might be to busy with people and especially tamed dino's at the keep, that the server decides that it has to do something about that.
That happend today again and that is why i am making this post, as with the wall which was to keep the wild dino's outside the town isn't working as carnivore's are just spawning inside the walls.
I have had raptors (really seen spawning next to me while i was there) a carno had some fun yesterday evening and a few more things have been going on.

How to solve that:
I really don't know, one thing i can think of is a bit more building(s) nearer to the wall so that more spawn points are getting blocked.
But keep this in mind and that counts for everyone playing, as soon as you build an foundation everything in a 20 building block radius will be removed, which means that rocks, trees and bushes all don't spawn back as soon as they are removed. You can see that happen at the town now as people now almost have to go into raptor valley to get wood and rocks etc.

Another thing is making the town smaller, as the town is nice and cool for new people to learn the tricks of the trade, but at some point they want more and need to find another location.
I know that there is already been talk about moving and i for one really encourage that people go find a nice location and try to get a foothold in that area. This shouldn't be taking lightly and takes some time to prepare.
But it is a way to keep the town really for people that are just joining with of course the back up of everyone else on the server. (it really doesn't take that long to fly across the island and to help out, just watch out where you land to get stamina back)

Now don't see this post as something you need to do, but please consider the things i have put in here and add your opinions and really don't take a hasty decision without really thinking things over and maybe even talked about with your online friends :flirty:

I have placed a one block foundation in the middle to see if that helps but I have seen a few dino's around that area so either they got there from the other side or they are still spawning , I hope its not the latter as that has taken me ages to gather and construct! the bridge over the river has doubled in size, added wall and under water defences. If it at least stops an Alpha from entering then it will be worth it I suppose

Other than increasing the length and height of the wall, my other plans / idea includes a couple of towers near the walls and possibly flood light the area.
