I thought I'd do a trough run so kinda 'borrowed' a mammoth.

Jamoe, I think it was yours (well that was the one Ice suggested).

So I did, filled up the troughs and parked him back into his parking space.

Trust that's OK?

I'm finding getting meat tougher. Are there any 'pool cars' one could use to help?

Where would one go to find the blueprints for saddles? Apparently they're at the home base somewhere.

Thanks

It is fine using the dino's that are tamed, a few have a more personal feeling towards the person(s) that tamed it but those are not the gathering materials dino's.
As long as you are carefull with them and bring it and yourself in one piece back to base.
If something happens (after all it is Ark) then just report on what happend.

For getting meat you want yourself a little hunter that you can use, so maybe with some help of the tribe getting yourself a raptor/sabertooth or something even scarier.

As for blueprints, there is a bookcase at the back of the keep it self on the balcony with still quite a few blueprints in it.
Also a smithy and forge are standing next to it.
Also some of us have been saving up blueprints and going to drop them at a central place. If you need something crafted and you arn't able to and can't find a blueprint to use then just give a shout as someone in the tribe will be able to craft that item.

The only thing I'm attached to is the pterodactyl Kryten :). The mammoth at the Keep is really Siths (im sure he tamed it) but I don't think it's precious, as with the bronto Fido I think it's a case of use it wisely :)

The blueprints have been moved although I left the duplicates. They were the ones Siths collected from drops and I moved them to the cave last week.

If you need a saddle I'm sure we can arrange something, there should be a trunk of saddles pre-made in the keep under the ramp.

Currently all my dinosaurs on the beach are up for use apart from my frog and my birds. My sarco is brilliant for food go in the water kill some fish and get 8 meat each time you kill one. The sarco is good for berries as well one of them should have a saddle on and is free to use all I ask is you feed the animals you use or put food in trough and park them near my house and close to trough. Thanks

I basically own no tames personally. Ifnit wasn't for the kindness of strangers I would probably still be rocking a beach hut.

I'm thinking of taming a couple of dinos for general use such as a rex, mammoth and dea..... dei. ....diu...... the rock basher. Birds are very useful but can go through a few when first starting out due to overwhelming  bugs, low stamina etc etc so I think you would need your own personal bird which isn't too difficult.

Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

Perhaps a naming convention that indicates which animals owners are happy to loan out?

thats why all mine have rogue in there name to help show they are mine and then when they die i can know and so can all of you. mayeb we should use a symbol to show they are not for use and for use

Jamoe

I like the name idea but locating a player when you have a sea of Rogues (just an example) becomes tricky. Perhaps we can create something simpler, perhaps using initials/abbreviation in brackets? (Jam)

I always ask before I borrow I think that should be the first port of call.

Like they say in EVE, don't fly waht you can't afford to loose :D
That being said. all the dino's left by myself at the keep are anybody's, I think it was two mammoths and FIDO were the main ones...
We have some we're attached to like Talon my old bird, I'm looking at you Grim! ;)

Otherwise, like its been said, enjoy and try not to suicide the slow tames :D
