Another mod worth looking at

Hey dudes,
Not much to say, I've just been exploring this mod a bit to see what it offers, and while the pvp servers I've been playing on have been horrible in the pvp sense, the mod itself, which was awarded the community spotlight, in the latest digest, is actually pretty interesting, it seems to expand a lot of the stuff that we all enjoy about ark, and takes away some of the things that make the game silly/ or pvp focused like explosives which are literally useless to us...

I'm not sure what's involved in crossing over to something like this, but I think in terms of keeping the game fresh it might be something worth looking at, or just looking at for expanding your own ideas anyway.

Obviously I'm looking at all these things, because unfortunately, the game at lvl 70 + at least on our server seems stagnant, no challenge and I hate to say it, boring... That's why I've been heading off into the wild so to speak to see what else is out there.

Let me know what you guys think, otherwise join me in some Survival of the fittest some time, anything!

herewith what I'd like the experimental admin server to start off with
MOD is this one that I linked in this thread the PRIMITIVE + mod
the initial settings I'd like a mirror of our current server with a few exceptions
them being:
DifficultyOffset 1.0  (which as I understand it means a difficulty value of 4 which allows for a maximum creature level of 120)
HarvestHealthMultiplier 1.5 (so that yields are higher from harvesting to counter the increased difficulty)
PlayerCharacterWaterDrainMultiplier 0.5 (slower drain of thirst since its an inconvenience not a matter of skill)
PlayerCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier 0.5 (same as above)

I hope that makes sense, first timer here

And any admins that want to amend or think of changes please post here, otherwise jump in and have a look
Remember new engrams associated with the mod show at the bottom of the engram list, below the standards, and some items like the saw mil have their own engrams associated with them, much like mortar and pestle etc...

The difficulty is brutal. But it definitely encourages team play and focused effort. I think it'll be worth a test play.

Show passworded servers, maybe.

And remember to select the Total Conversion - bottom right.
