£299 one-off fee + £50 upgrade fee to upgrade my existing setup?  AND the small print says that all Sky Q equipment is loaned to you free of charge... So what's the bloody £299 for?

Those money-grabbing *******s really make my blood boil. :ranting2:

Armitage

I got mine for £150 installed.

To answer one of the other questions, if I understand correctly, it runs Sky over a proprietary wireless, like Sonos. Saves you cabling and Sky, if nothing else have a great GUI and experience.

I can't get one because I'm on staff discount and they haven't worked out how to apply it yet :(

How's anyone finding it?

The remote is a little crap. but the ability to record 4 channels and watch a 5th is good.
As far as the interface, still needs a little getting used to.

Glancing through the Sky Q section of the AV Forum and spotted that Sky are offering a £99 discount on Sky Q installs for loyal customers (10 years plus as a Sky customer).

Just phoned them and got a £99 credit added to my account :D
