PC Noob In Need Of Being Shown The Ropes

Hey everyone, My names Jay. I've recently just started my adventure into the world of PC gaming and was recommended to this community by my friend SithAfrikaan.

I have 20+ years of gaming experience but never ventured out of console gaming until recently.

Basically, I haven't got a clue what i'm doing.

I bought my PC for 2 reasons.

1) To improve my quality of work in photoshop and video editing ( my hobbies )
2) I went to Gamescom last year and got my hands on Overwatch for the PC and instantly fell in love with it.

There's only 2 games i'm currently playing on PC at the moment. Hearthstone and CSGO.

Been playing hearthstone for 2 years, but i've just started playing CSGO yesterday and it's safe to say im terrible.

SithAfrikaan recommended you guy's in hope's of finding some people to enhance my gaming experience on PC and in hopes of improving my skills in CSGO hopefully in time for when Overwatch comes out.

Hi Jay, welcome to the PC gaming world and to dMw.

A few people here play hearthstone (don't ask me, I play but I have only one basic deck),  and loads of people play CSGO.   Do what Blunt said, jump onto the Teamspeak server, into the CSGO channel and just say hello.   We're a friendly bunch and you'll get to know people in no time!

You were fine Jay, don't worry about the call-outs for now, you'll pick those up as you go along.
There's plenty of call-out explainers about if you really want to learn em, or just ask where xxxx is when you hear it. Someone will usually tell you.

Or you can just ask us in TS.
