LAN XXX Transport Thread

Thanks for the offer Sulky but driving from the LAN venue towards Stansted and back is atleast 3 hours in total.
By train it's an hour or so, so not that long. I would appreciate a pick up from March "Central" Station though.

There's no problem for us to wait a bit, though if you are getting there at eleven you're probably going to be the one doing the waiting as we land at a quarter to eleven and have to pick up baggage and get to the pick up

so lads I have problem.. i don't have any money. So i'm just seeing my options. I live in leeds and i'd liek to see if anybody would be able to pick me up (and gear) on thursday at any time and get back for sunday as well.. or half way

Looking back through the thread I believe addx9 is in Leeds? A train from Leeds to March costs a total of about Â£40 (buy single to Peterborough then Peterborough to March, it's cheaper than a Leeds to March ticket), and the way back with Chaos in the car? Coach/bus is an option but it is 5 hours.

I can do wednesday now. since i have no money i can't do the other thing that was taking up wednesday =D

Yeah tjhis does help thanks. This will be the second option if chaos isnt able to pick me up on wednesday
