Job Vacancies - Help Needed!!

Here's the list of jobs you can volunteer for at LAN XXIX:




LAN Admin


Ninja_Freak & BrotherTobious

LAN Network Admins - who can turn up on Friday morning and who will be responsible for making sure the switches are there, connected and configured properly for max speed and the cables all working.

LAN Server Admins - Responsible for setting up and configuring the servers before the LAN and then for running the required games at the appropriate times.

PC Technical Support - The kind souls responsible for the helping people getting their PC's to work. This is a vital, time-consuming and selfless task (ask anyone who had problems in April!)

LAN Secretary - Responsible for all of those nice things, like a piece of card on your desk with your name and gateway, collecting LAN Fees; making sure things run smoothly. Basically doing the real work whilst he LAN MC takes all the glory.

International Support Desk - Responsible for the International Social needs, wants and worries.   Basically doing the real work whilst he LAN MC takes all the glory.

 LAN Photographers / Video  - the ones responsible for getting pictures all weekend and posting them on the website afterwards!

LAN Security - responsible for the room keys on those late overnight gaming sessions

LAN Transport Coordinator - responsible for getting wayward travellers from airports to the hotel

LAN MC - the person who will be the vocal host for the long weekend! Shouting at people about rules for the matches, chasing form the bar to their tables for the next competition round, making sure everyone has heard when dinner is etc.

Photos, Videos for the bits where add9x can't film, those non virgins will understand.

Ferrying SJ about to get popcorn chicken from KFC and crisps from Tescos. Possible trip to Beers of Europe and other fun things.

Helping to take apart laptops then running to get Varg (oh wait no Varg this time!). Will help if stuff goes pop.

I'm offering to host pictures/media in advance, I have access to storage and unlimited bandwidth.
We always have plenty volunteers taking pics, but only very few get posted or the hosting provider has since pulled the plug on us, or domains have expired.

So, to whoever is snapping away over the weekend, come see me and we can sort out a place to dump pics/videos.

By sure what I can do it seems every wants wants to take photos of you lot ( not sure why :flirty: ) but I am more then happy to help in anyway I can do really. Am happy to do most things really if pen need a hand with all the set up then that's great or if you need more donuts then I can grab them since gregs do 12 for 5 pounds haha. The offer is always there
