Excellent. Could you and Sithy decide between you what server rules you want? I would suggest we have a public server to attract players to the community but it does rely on the pubbies being non-twats.

So far depending on number of players, I'd just like the harvesting ammount to be adjusted to at least 3.0 if its default is 1.0. The materials req for some stuff is astronomical if it's only a hand full of us playing.

As sith knows I also own this game now and look forward to seeing how it plays out. So far it looks very much like ark in the ways it looks and feels but still is very fun so far and I look forward to playing more of it.

Can we have a TS room.

I played on a server last night.  Standard survival game fair so far. Died a bit at the start, but now have a 2x3 box to live in, camp fire, small chest ect..
Before I logged of for the night, I thought I would kill a small camp of NPC's near my new home.  Didn't go well  So respawned in my house only to find the NPC's knocking on my door telling me "I had messed with the wrong People". Kinda cool.

Server settings last night were

Day Speed 10
Night Speed 1
Spoil Rate 0.5
Harvest Multi 2.0

Spoil rate could be slowed a bit. I logged on this morning and all my meat was rotten.  Very Ark like.

I'll try a different server tonight.

Game itself is a bit glitchy and some lag.

Man I'm so glad you listed those settings aswell Armitage, I've been on one very similarly setup, and it feels a LOT more natural, the darkness is JUST too dark to have an elaborately long night, and my stack of meat grilled was spoiled before I needed even half of it..

How is the battle dynamic? Is it more refined than Ark and you can do combo moves and really fight with skill rather than poke and run?

As far i can see so far you have different attacks and can duel wild with certain weapons

I've stumped up and i'm willing to give it a go. I have to admit though. While graphically its not as pretty as Ark, somehow its managed to get more atmosphere in here. I think the obvious comparison to Ark should be avoided though - these are two fairly different games.

just fire up a local server, go to options > server settings. all available options are listed. Even if you get them 'wrong' initially, they can all be adjusted on the fly without having to restart the server.

The server is now up and running due to the amazing oldbloke that is oldie and with the help of no peanuts aswell the server is live and set to how we think is best to play this game, it might change tho while we find out the best way to play this game
