4) Oldie needed to place a map room for a journey step :norty:

Quote from: albert;431703A few reasons Milli:

1) Most people need 2 types of armour to a) in the volcano and b) to run to your place. Which means...
2) Encumbrance is severely limited when using cold weather armour so little point in grinding in there if you can only take back a few things.
3) We'll always need to go in there for gold, like forever, so having a map room close by is a time saver and risk reducer over time.

That's as someone who has died like 6 times getting to your place already because of Frostbite, and half the time we have this bugged OP dancer buff, when that gets fixed it'll be even worse.

Oh and I can't have anyone enjoying your lovely beautiful map room (joke). :norty:

I didn't try and put it inside the volcano, the space is limited and the heat damage/ poison anywhere too far from the Cult shrine is really hard to manage.
Just saying only because the amount of materials needed bud that was all.

But, I've found only need to take silent legion armour in, (get this done for you tonight if on?), As with the survival buff with temperature effects diminished plus passive regen pretty much negates damage that the cold causes (only Frostbite will then damage but countered sufficiently with buffs)

Downside of silent legion armor is that it is classed as heavy armor, so weight reduction/flexibility kits are advised.  But the 900 armor pretty makes you a tank.

Also handed to do is always carry a couple of mind wipe potions (yellow lotus), then you can respect into more carry weight as you see fit while still maintaining the strength/vitality

I'm currently running

Strength 40 (heavy attacks increase (as I use right click pike))

Agility 10 (sprint reduction)

Vitality 30 (temperature diminished, passive healing)

Accuracy 0

Grit 10 ( climb)

Encumbrance 20 (crippling effect reduction)

Survival 0

Leaves you with 25 points to spend elsewhere you please

Folks, who has built a box building slightly west of the Derketo temple with steps up the the temple plateau? It's the one with a wheel of pain in there.

Just an FYI, there are some rather rare iron nodes right under that building that are no longer accessible. It's also a 10 second run round from an existing wheel of pain and if getting up the cliff was an issue, simply asking me to build steps would have saved all that work to build another so close. It's the iron resource that I am lacking and missing most now

As a gift I caught you a Gnash The Hungry and a Mei The Blade and they are in your wheel now.
Cheers, Bert

Whilst I'm grumping, who as adopted the rather annoying habbit of replacing the silk torso garments on male dancers with sack clothing? It's was done in the Star Tower in my room and no another has appeared on my thrall wheel platform in the East near the above mentioned temple.

C'mon, please cut this out, it's petty and annoying.
Cheers, Bert

That was me, I didn't build on top of the nodes but obviously too close to stop them spawning. Also i didn't realise your place was as close when i built it.

I have destroyed it all so enjoy the metal

The nodes were up against the wall that the foundations were on top of, they've respawned now, cheers.

Just use the wheel round the bend from there mate, it's got a named slaver on there and if you want to fortify the area go right on ahead, or build stairs.

I just like to leave things as natural as possible incase people want to use resources or infiltrate the temple the old fashioned way.

Ok so being a relatively calm person, but I seriously do think the child who is still doing this should have their backside skelped and given a warning they have to grow up.

Now one of my thrall dancers in the volcano has no upper body clothing (looks like sack to me as I don't enable nudity).

Only the one, so it's not a bug (I also checked this). I will be making a complaint about this in the game leader section and really should you decide to man up and come clean, I will accept an apology, last time I'm offering this, next time I will ask for a ban.

Albert - I know you've asked for this to cease already, and i'm sure ppl have read it here and if so now will cease to do it seeing as you are significantly annyed... but perhaps there is a bug

https://forums.funcom.com/t/thrall-armor-issue/9795

I know you said that other thralls are not changed but perhaps its just a random bug?

That bug is in single player only, I already researched it and it only happens if you have already replaced clothing which I have not and not in multiplayer.

As I calmly said, (as in not significantly annoyed) if the person comes clean, issue closed. I haven't seen or heard anyone else reporting this, it's only on my dancers (in order to not disturb fighter etc. which is considerate) so clearly one person thinks winding me up is fun, I just think it's immature.

Anyway, for the sake of tranquility, I'll not raise it here again.

Penfold

If someone was doing it, it was done as a joke and will presumably now stop. I'd be disappointed if it didn't.

Milli

Whether it's single or multi player, it's still a known bug on current build.  I'm just saying that after your last post, I'd have expected it to stop and looking for other reason than ppl trying to wind you up bud.

I can't comment as I don't change what my thralls wear

haven't made it to the volcano yet...I didn't even know there was a nudity option. But agree prob done as a joke or server game issue

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Whitey

I can't believe any of the current players are childish enough to do this after you already asked for it to stop.

RogueTaylor

Never been to volcano and haven’t been on in a week since I was away. Hopefully what ever is happening stops if it’s annoying you so much.
