Needed ASAP please!

So simply:

- Do only Delivery of info and good missions
- For only the dMw Alliance faction, not any others
- Also if you want to trade, sell your goods at Brackett Prospect
- Combat missions do not contribute to influence during elections, only peaceful actions
- Guest City is owned by another faction, trading or handing in exploration data or anything else there other than dMw missions will benefit the opposition.

Bascially lots of boring data and goods delivery missions! Sorry.

Just had chance to run a few missions for dMw, i'm beginning to like the Asp, it's set as a sort of engineering gathering vessel at the mo'.

PS- Why do i find landing at Brackett Prospect so tricky ? :crying:

albert

dMw missions can also be taken from Guest City or any other landable station in the system. I'm only using guest to pick up but set down trade and exploration data at Brackett.

What worked for me was being told by Albert to ensure your throttle is set to 50% as soon as you hit the atmosphere. You can leave it there until after you drop out of cruise (the blue stage). Aim above the station so that your angle is between 25 and 45 degrees. You should enter cruise at about 100km from target. When you enter cruise aim directly at the target and don't deviate. It's scary but you will drop out of cruise before you make a crater - sometimes a lot closer than is comfortable :D

So at the moment DMW is 35% to the 34% of the nearest rival.

albert

Correct, but they seem to have an up arrow and us a down arrow. So doing as many missions as possible is needed. I notice the system saw 186 ships pass through in 24 hours. I hope they did some missions for dMw!

The election is vs our nearest rival and we have to stay above them! The stats tick round every day at 15:30-16: BST by the way so you can see what the result of our efforts were.

Twyst

I managed a few missions last night and and managed to get to cordial, so I can now run DMW missions directly I think.

AndyBee

I hit Cordial last night too.... but frustratingly now all dMw missions at Bracket & Guest City require Friendly... even with multiple relogs/switching from solo/open etc....

Seems it was just the RNG gods, found some missions eventually, where do i see these stats ? the 35% vs 34% & who our rivals are by the way ? being a noob and can't see them....

EDIT: Found the info.... next Q, how long is this election period and what are the pros/cons of winning/losing ?

PS: we seem to be 33/33% now !

Just resurrecting this thread as a way to keep track of our influence in ZTA.

The minor faction that holds Hartlib Barracks is creeping towards us and at some point we will need to regroup to beat them in an election or a civil war.

Please help out by looking back at this thread every few days.

Cheers,

Bert

Opposite to what I expected, someone is grinding up the dMw Faction in Elite Dangerous:

https://eddb.io/faction/12444 - now over 50% influence.

I suspect another player group has spotted the faction and decided they need more influence and maybe to expand outside Zeta.

I'll be keeping an eye on this and updating this post.

Quote from: Penfold;425376Isn't that good?

Yeah, someone is doing our job for us. But if we expand we thin out our resources across 2 systems, now assuming those other players supporting our faction continue, then we could expand and gain ports outside Zeta. If they are doing this to make us weaker in Zeta and then try and then boost another AI faction, we may need to call battle stations. I would rather our influence lowers and we take more ports in Zeta via civil war with the second largest faction. that way we consolidate our position. That only happens if we end up close enough in influence with another faction that they can trigger and event to challenge us and then we all turn up and win the event.

Anyway of finding out and contacting the other group if there is one?
