It's released. And despite the fact that it requires a new purchase if you only had the FSX version (like me), it's a purchase I'll be making!

i think PMDG have a nerve on this one, i think that a massive discount should be in order, ie if you purchased 777 for  fsx , then you get the p3d 777 at 50% discount and the same the other way around. A lot of people aren't happy at PMDG with their pricing policy, they could still make a killing with the discount

TBH i would buy the PMDG 777 at 50% off for P3d, but not at full price.

through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

I agree, however they hold all the cards and they have by far the best Boeing airliners on the market.  I fly the tubeliners a lot, so that's my entertainment, so for me it sucks, but is probably in the long run, worth the price on the $/hour calculation.

On FSX I have the 747 and 777.     On P3D I have the 747, but will add the 737 for P3D too I suspect.

The problem is that for those airframes, PMDG has no competition, they are widely regarded as the best, bar none.   If they had competition then they would lose business if they treated customers like this, but it's practically a monopoly.  Airbus is a little different in that their seem to be some really nice Airbus sims now coming out, but for Boeing, try to think of any with comparable quality and depth?

Totally agree with your sentiment though.

Actually I made a mistake there and fell back on habit.  I'd made a decision to stick an Airbus onto P3D, and currently the most logical would be FSlabs' A320X instead of the PMDG 737.
