Wyvern Eggs

We made a collective decision last night to only store Wyvern eggs above the 100 level. As the number of eggs on the server appears to be a finite number, storing low level eggs will prevent higher one from spawning - hence the policy.

The low level eggs are yummy. Enjoy.

went over to wyvern cave 2 near the green tower and found 0 nests, wondering if we have over farmed them?

I think I have found a 3rd Wyvern spawn point by the way, did not look closely as I was on my own Wyvern but I saw 7-8 wyverns flying around. I am not sure if this is the one near green tower or not :S It is in the south west corner of the map, near the Scorched Earth style terrain.


Also, RE: frost Wyverns, there are 2-3 nests in the MurderSnow area that are relatively easy to snatch and grab from. As I said to a few in TS the other day, if the Wyverns there are low level the eggs will be too, but to get a good egg all you need to do is kill the Wyverns and eat their eggs, and wait for hopefully higher lvl ones to respawn, giving higher level eggs.

We have plenty of blueprints for gear that can keep you alive long enough in the cold, does anyone fancy doing an egg run there?

That is the one Sneaky is on about Ben. There's an easy accesable cave/cavernsystem which should have a few spawnpoints for eggs.

If anyone needs better cold gear, please give a shout. I'm currently trying to make a few spare sets.

Careful, It's about 6,000 pelt. I made a set the other night.. pricey. I have some spare stuff that's warm, but not quite as warm. It's easy to survive with it though so I can lend for a run.

So after a week of searching for a decent level Ice Wyvern egg I finally got me a 180 this morning :yahoo:

I had to kill numerous Wyverns and ate plenty of low-level eggs before striking lucky. I then managed to solo the Wyvern trap to gain 10 milk :yahoo:

So I will be raising a baby later which I intend to make a transport Wyvern, levelling up stamina and weight only.

I really want to get a wyvern and mentioned it to a few at the lan. If not on today is anyone around tmw to help me? Not tried it yet.

I didn't really want a wyvern early on into my Ark experience but - they're just too damn awesome.

If there's runs going on I'll jump in if I'm in the position to, I can always just look at it
