Boss Fight - Saturday AFTERNOON

We plan to do the Beta Dragon next Saturday. This will unlock the tek transmitter as well as some more tek gear.

Most of us will be at the LAN but obviously others are able to play.

You need to be level 75 to join. Anyone under that just won't get teleported in from the server. If someone who is under that level would like to see what it's about, then you're free to take in Sandbanker (Guess you'd call it an alt) which is level 75. If so then I'll give you the password to log in under that account and join. It would be useful if someone could do that in any case so he can craft tek items (he's on 840% crafting bonus).

Prep:

We have started to collect the items needed in the Vault in the castle (the one opposite the bookcases). if you're passing, please see what we're missing and if you can supply any of the missing items that'd be great.

Dinos:

if you get the chance, we need to breed up some more rexes to take on the dragon. These are located in the building next to green tower in the doughnut. Failing that, Wyvernholme has a breeding pair. They don't need imprinting, just breeding. If you get the chance please.

Weapons:

We need the most powerful ranged weapons you can muster. The Rexes will tank for us while we stand back and shoot the bejeesus out of it. Rocket launched would be lovely but failing that sniper rifles or assault rifles. There are engrams at the Castle for all. The sniper rifle is kinda heavy on resources so just do what you can and bring what you can.

Jas is our raid leader so please shout him if you need any advice.

Due to a scheduling conflict with the LAN, we'll aim to do this Saturday afternoon.

My bad. Sorry should have checked with Chaos and his team before getting carried away. The itinerary has changed so Sat night is now CS:GO not deagle which obviously has more of an impact.

As you can see, we've scheduled this for after lunch deagle and pre-overwatch. It won't actually take that long so hopefully no clashes.

Yes just an issue of us changing the order of Saturday tournaments and neglecting to update the schedule. No problem with this running alongside the Deagle (on Saturday afternoon) as it is a short / fast paced thing that shouldn't cause to many problems for either game.

And I will stress, there is no problem at ALL with people playing whatever game they like throughout the LAN. Sit and play Barbie Horse Adventure all weekend if you like, we won't judge you (much). Organised events are a little different, but if anyone is keen to set something up then you are more than welcome to get in touch and we will do our best to fit it in... its everyone's event, after-all

I envisage us all signing up for the Deagle  - or those who want to anyway

Most of us are crap now (especially Whitey and except Duv) so expect us to get knocked out quite quickly. Unless of course Gortex and I get drawn together again and somehow miraculously make it to the semis (while nursing semis).

If we have a clash there's enough people to babysit an ark character for 10 mins.

Up for this ofcourse. I do have about 6x rocket launchers and 27 RPG's but we need to do some testing on how many shots can be fired before they brake and blow up.

I'll bring my Sniper Rifle and have spare:
-2x Ascendant Assault Rifles;
-4x Ascendant Longneck spares.
-3x Ascendant Fabricated Pistol.
I'm low on ammo for the longnecks and Assault Rifles though and might need some more RPG's.

I have an RPG and maybe 2 rounds, can't remember... I will be busy so won't be joining but if anyone wants to come raid my house for useful gear that is fine ?

Base (primitive) weapon damage per sec.

Assault rifle 1000 but will have accuracy issues and you will need alot of ammo
Sniper 205
Fabricated pistol 118
Simple pistol 68
Compound Bow 64
Long neck rifle 56
Crossbow 47

It comes down to choice but realistically we should be rocking up with the best available. We have spare guns available for use but if you can figure what you will borrow and make your own ammo that would be a massive help.    

Cost wise the ammo for the fabricated pistol is a clear winner but that just my recommendation

Aye I think when we discussed this on The Island map we came to the conclusion that Fabricated Pistol had the best bang for the buck. Its fast rate of fire if nothing else made it a good choice.
