Hello, Not Really New - But it's Been A While!!!

Yep, it's the player formally known as 'BIG_Ranger'...

After a long, long hiatus from gaming I seem to have caught the bug again (in a very modest way)...

Of course, I've aged somewhat since 'the good old days' but what can you do?

I've been watching the events unfold from E3 and a few things have caught my eye and got me interested in maybe getting back to trying some community play...SO...I wondered if what dMw's views on the following were:

• Fallout 76
• Battlefield V
• Insurgency Sandstorm

....OR...

Is there something closer on the horizon that anyone would recommend that I look into that you guys will be playing (and maybe welcome and extra player)?

Awww, hi guys....Thanks so much for the kind 'hellos'.

Can't say how the rest of the old BIG guys are doing as I haven't seen them in ages (I left my job at the uni where we worked). Last I heard they were all still heavily into World of Tanks.

I'm just starting to dust off my old rig and am looking around for something teamy to play. Completely outa touch with what people use for V-comms now and what not. Will have to read your forum are to get an idea how things are set up now.

I'll also have a read of your game threads to see what you guys are playing now.

Welcome back and a pleasure to meet you Ranger.

Most of the main team based games have been mentioned already, i would also add Arma 3 to the mix if you like your mil sims and a laugh. You can always fine us on there on Sunday nights. Apart from that get on discord and see what we nerds are playing . Few of us are starting to play War thunder ( wouldn't normally mention but seeing your mention of world of tanks thought you might be interested) few have been playing for a while now and some like me are just starting and enjoying it. Was a fan of world of tanks but without a squad i found it hard to grind on my own so in the end gave up.

Love all the games you mentioned from E3 and i imagine we will all be having discussions on these new games that have been revived to us.

Anyway, nice to have you back and look forward to meeting and gaming with you!
