Hopefully it's a small update. We will just have to roll with it either way.

You could pre-empt it by going Insider Preview now, or getting up-to-date just before packing and then setting updates to deferred (should buy you some time even on Home Edition)

If it causes a problem we can defer it on machines at the LAN, or at least let it run overnight. AFAIK you can interrupt an update download with ease if necessary.

Only Overwatch on the Thursday is running on external servers this time - the Saturday tournaments are LAN only, which certainly makes it easier from a network point of view. Worst case scenario Ghosty will be speed limited whilst browsing extracurricular websites.
