Lost Mines Friday Group

Hello my Friday adventurers, seems to have a bit of bad news. This Friday we might have to postpone since the group will be missing two people, i am sorry to have to postpone it but I would like for most of the group to be there. So far from what I am aware the other two people will be there for the week after so we should have the full 6 then.

Player are still not able to make the Thursday and I can not do the Saturday as I will be away for the day with my Gf. Looks like this week we will have to postpone it, am happy to look at doing something else on the Friday if people want to ?

No subs available? I thought there was a little list of those who wanted to play as guests?

So long as the incumbent is happy to let their character be played by a third party then it could work - and given they're all prerolled people should be less territorial over them?

Itâ€™s kinda the last option I have, if people want to come forward to play then we can look at doing it, I will be able to send over the character sheets to the subs and give them the basic details. If we donâ€™t have people by Friday morning then I will look at having it still called off

I know I've started this campaign with t'other group but don't mind 'caretaking' a character on Friday and not proactively contributing to the plan to keep it generic if that would help. Claire's away this week so I'm kicking my heels (and Atlas'ing).

Sure pen, if no one else is free or wants to do it then I am sure this group would love to have you take over either the rogue or the wizard. Like you said it would be best for you to take a step back when plans come about even with this group already doing thing very different to the other group

I can run multiple characters at once without any issues, if its possible in FG.
Would prefer to take over the wizard, but can use any class.

I think if we have 4 of us still around and your still ok to run as DM on Friday night RT then we should go ahead and play.

The wizard has yet to be played officially so I don't see this being a big impact for someone like Pen or a guest player to take over for the night and perhaps play a less involved role. Also this being just a testing campaign with pre generated characters to learn the game and system I don't think it has the same impact for guest players to run someones character for the night. Obviously if they level or something like that then they will need to leave this to the lead player to make the choices etc.

Been really looking forward to the next round all week so not going ahead will be a shame.

I am more then happy to run the game, if pen wants in then that will be brilliant. I just didn't want to run the game as well as then having to do two extra characters, i don't want to be talk through out the whole night :lmfao: I am Not sure how it would work Gorion but i can have a look into it since you know more about the wizard then i do. So if that works and you are willing then the group would have a decent wizard who knows the spells and how to use them. Level up in the first few levels isn't anything to serious to worry about its more a case of on your character sheets it does tell you what you get when you level up, Gorion is the only one who doesn't but he is the most knowledge about it anyway so not worry about him at all

That would be awesome smilo, if you and pen join we would have a full party, You then would have the chance to see how other classes might work, there isn't to much difference at this level but still nice to see how each work.
