So far I'm loving it. I'm on a 40 person PvE server, alone!!!! so I just setup camp very near the safe zone called East Reach......I went for the Gaming-Central.eu ping of about 50ms.

This is a spoiler or a help depending how you look at it. The creation of spells required essence, a school of magic, a free slot on an object then a mix of ingredients to buff or power up the spell. You don't get told which combinations do what.

Arcane essence is free and always available, the others you harvest from orbs around pools of various types.

Extract made out of Natures Essence and the Utility School selected gives you a way to get resources from objects without burning through axes at only the costs of mana.

It's too early yet but of course we can spin up a server should their be an appetite for one within the community.

Happy to join the eu server that you lot are on. Think it will be nicer when we have one because then we have the free rein to do what ever we want. Plus no one can kill us then haha.

I went on a bit of an adventure today. Firsly, built a new base well West, (blue circle). So there's a forge and chest there in a secured building very near the fast travel tower. I then went venturing North, lots of essence pools and found Precious Stones. Then I spotted the tower! Over the snow zone past some lvl 60 enemies. I snuck over ice and crept past them to unlock the portal. Not before I instadied by dragon, which incidentally you can hide from by crouching and sticking to the rocks and tree lines.

Eventually got my pack back and all my loot. Epic and tense fun.

Oh and the maps key is underline is our original starting point and the arrow points at the scary Norther snow portal.

Lots of player builds up there, stunning stone castle and tree houses.

after a rough start im really enjoying this game and would throw my hat in the ring for endorsing a dmw server!

And.... the server were on has disappeared. The new one is the Official EU server but then again, so was the last one, so waht do I know lol.

What's clear is each player should pick a trade and stick to is so we can open up more stuff faster. It's nigh on impossible to progress if we all do the same thing.
