As we steam on into the New Year, it’s time to action some pipeline work which has been rumbling away in the background for the last few months.

The more observant of you may have noticed that there’s been a bit of re-badging going on.

The Council have been in consultation with the current bank of Game Leaders about reviewing how we run dMw and the existing structure of Game Admins and Game Leaders.

To accommodate the fickle nature of current gaming where players tend to flip rapidly from one game to another, we’ve decided to ditch the current system to more generic ‘community admins’. The idea is to include an active tranche of sensible people who can help look after an ever-changing roster of active games within the community without being tied down to a particular niche. We hope this will better enable us to 'keep up' with what the community is playing and how we can best support that and help the community grow.

To kick things off, we’ve looked at the list of game leaders (current and recent) and have asked 10 to start off as Community Admins. These 10 initially are those we feel best suited to the task based on not just activity and attitude but also an understanding of the dMw ethos and how we operate.

These are: Myopic, Jewelz, TwoBad, CheesePuff, Rogue, Sparko, Hal, Jas, Milli and Sith.

Obviously this is all pretty fluid and we’re always open to ideas and suggestions and also to promote others when appropriate. This current roster gives us a good starting point. This new structure makes it easier to add people or indeed remove people when required.

We hope you understand the rationale behind this and that you’ll support what we’re trying to do.

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Nice :) Aye, this is probably a good approach.
