so a new post again, this time for your tech questions

16 or 32 gig of mem is the question no one has asked this week, well here is a review of both and any differences it may cause (BTW i have 64gig and only utilise about 26 when playing)

yo, how do I know what my bottle neck is? Really enjoying it, albeit lo res, so what do I check to see what the upgrade needs to be to make it look as good as it can for the least cash!

(and quite chuffed I nailed the Lukla landing at second attempt)

EDIT - Ran dev mode, looks like it's my GPU maxing....so best bang for buck? Something like a GTX2060 @ about Â£300 should do it right?

nice on nailing the landing, haven't tried it yet, mate for the same price as a 2060 it might be worth waiting a short while and getting a 3060 when they are released, but if you cant wait that would be ok for med settings

I may be impatient sulks, delivery for tomorrow cut off was 830....so I used the n+1 rule, went over budget and hid it on a credit card.
Tomorrow I land gracefully in technicolor.

Any idea how you look at historical scores on landings? Nepal is mine!

No, I've been looking for ages and I cant see where you can see your current standings, it only seems to show after you have done the challenge. Also worth noting that if you have another go at a challenge it overwrites your previous attempt even if its lower

A 2060 super, runs it just nicely. Very happy.
Going to have to fire up a few other games I've not enjoyed in full glory. (CoD remastered I'm looking at you!)

how long did everyones patch take, im averaging 100meg spped today, but so far 3 gig has taken 2 hours...only 9 gig to go so playable in 6.......strange

Took about half an hour, didnt seem to have any issues to be honest.

On a positive note, the tweaks they have done on the cpu/gpu side of things have made a massive improvement on my frames, literally almost doubled :blink:
