Sorry correction, you can reallocate weapon points but what I meant is you cannot gain XP for your chosen fav weapon if you don’t use it.

Please note I have added a discord link to the above post for the community we are throwing in with for New World.

The dMw Discord will (for me at least!) still remain the first place to go for game comms - but some things, or perhaps just some times of day, might pull people over to the other.

I've started browing this page to get a few ideas for builds. The thing that seems clear is that many of the best builds are part of a team. y that I mean they depend on a particular team mate who has something like agro on a tank or other various things to buff them in the battle.

Certainly worth a look to understand a bit more about the dynamics of the game.

NOTE: Spoliers if you want to learn for yourself!

By the way, story wise is seems there is a main story mission for every 10 levels of progression, with multiple stages and up to 10 levels increase. They get you to level 60 if followed and mixed with casual play.

I love the way this site (same as above post) displays the abilities of each weapon on a single page. Useful if you have a few minutes to read over the options possible, it may just sway your starting choice.

I've added the alternate server a few of us are playing in to the first post.

We have maybe 6-7 of us there now. It's a good option if you want to jump in without queues.

Come join us - you can either run 2 characters (2 diff builds perhaps) or just end up keeping whatever one gets higher.

Eventually we will aim to merge all back together, of course.
