All current Bravo Company members can apply for membership of Charlie Company providing that they have been a Bravo Company member for at least two months and are prepared to represent dMw in clan matches at least once per week.

On receipt of a valid application to join Charlie Company a poll will be posted asking all current admins to vote and comment on the suitability of the applicant. This vote should concentrate purely on the potential of the applicant to become a valued member of Charlie Company.

If the vote fails then the applicant will be informed as to the expected changes they would need to make to ensure that any future application would succeed.

If the vote passes then the applicant will be invited to join an admin on a server to demonstrate that they have working voicecomms and a buyscript. They will then be asked to join #deadmen on irc.

A member of Charlie Company is *not* just a match-playing Bravo. No way. TeaLeaf and I are happy to apply the 'no problem' rule to Bravo applicants but Charlie membership requires a much stricter set of criteria. This is why there is a mandatory two-month probation period for all new Charlie members to make sure that they are made of the 'right stuff'. During those two month we, as admins, will make sure that we monitor them closely, provide coaching/training/advice where necessary and provide feedback on their performance. Anyone not coming up to scratch will be bounced back to Bravo.

Question:

Should we not evaluate how this player will contribute regarding TCS i.e. teaching new members what to do and not etc?

I've edited my post to, hopefully, better explain the role we as admins will have with regard to new Charlies.

On acceptance to Charlie we will continue to use the topic in the applicants name for comments.
