I think it is in order to have a training session with the new charlie members. We just need to go over our basic tactics so they know where to go in a match situation.

Roger that. I will try and sum up the tactics that have evolved recently for the maps I listed above.

OK, so OB is awol for a fortnight, solet's get this thing on the road in terms of training.   We need to organise a 5v5 match for training purposes on maps we use in matches.  I think we should aim for 4 maps and 4 practices - over the next 2 weeks - starting on Monday night.

Also, we should consider booking some friendlies to run some teams out that don't normally get out.  Maybe even throw a match or two in for Bravo interest, either using them as the oppo, or getting them an ED friendly (with oppo agreement of course).

An ambitious target, but if you don't aim high etc......

I think we should try and train 2 new extra SLs as well. I know that FatBob and Albert haven't been around much for valid reasons but we still need the SLs. What do you think?

Let's go with the new cbble as we seem to have the better taccies for that one anyway.  

How about 9pm start to allow some gaming on MH beforehand?  Practices to include a review of the tactics for the map at the start (led by an SL), followed by an MR12 match.  This should take just over an hour on average I reckon.

(Oldbloke note:) I will try to take the opportunity to run the new Charlies through their membership test - it might be a good idea to run the whole squad through it too!

Suggested Practice schedule:

Monday 10th - de_inferno
Wednesday 12th - de_dust2

Monday 17th - de_aztec
Wednesday 19th - de_cbble

We should then try to get some matches arranged to allow those praccies to be put into effect.  We can either make the matches 'internal' ie Charlie v Charlie, or it might be an idea to challenge the Bravo members to the match and see how teams get on.  We could probably set up quite a few of these matches quite quickly.  I will post in Bravo Channel to see if there is interest.

As long as the SLs have a clear view as to what is happening tactics-wise then we should be able to run it smoothly.  

Suggestion:  HLTV is used to record the initial bit of the training session and we can then edit down (leaving the voice coms intact) for future reference. New members (or those that want a refresher) can then watch the training session to bring themselves up to speed.

I'm still thinking about the SL thing and will post back when my head is on straight.

Heck of a lot to do in 2 weeks, but hey I reckon we can get it sorted

Our 12k match this weekend is off as dkz withdrew from the league. We now only have two matches left, both agaist DTUK.

Sunday the 30th of May on de_survivor

Sunday the 6th of June on de_dust2


My suggestion is that we have a training session on Thursday 20th and another on Sunday 23rd. We can think about next weeks training later on.

I will try and write a tactics post regarding de_survivor asap.  :devil:

From Monday night 31st of May until afternoon (arriving home about 15.00) 6th of June I will be away on a conference. It shouldn't be a problem and I will be available for the last match.
