AMX now on our CZ server.

I have installed the new AMX ModX on our CZ server. It has not been tested thoroughly but appears to work OK.

AMX ModX is based heavily on AMX but it has ongoing development plans whereas AMX doesn't. All configs are similar so your admin powers should be intact and work as before.

As an aside: I've posted to see how many peeps own CZ. As it's possible to set up the server with bots on one side and us non-bots on t'other then it could be a useful training tool.

Could you modify the maps that come up when there is a mapvote in AMX? Right now only cs maps gets picked and not any cz maps. A shame really as the cz maps have some interesting elements to them.

I have spent 2-3 hours this afternoon on the server and I have been busy I tell you. I have kicked and banned like crazy. It have been TK and TW that I have removed.

Could you OB install that AMX thing they have on cofr with 3 TK will lead to a ban and the TW checker as well? Would do wonders I think.

Also I think you should consider turning the auto balance for teams on.

Yeah I witnessed a number of TK TW violations recently. The ounter on CoFR is good for discouraging teamdamage, but I doubt Duvel will last too long

After just putting CZ to test it out i go on the server and get TK'ed by some muppet....then his M8 shot him..... then another guys shoots everyone

Oh the fun i had kick/rejoin/bann........i wanted to slap them also but alas its not available :lol: good practice for me i dont get to bann people very often

I was gunna put them in the rouge section but tbh while CZ is a public server i dont see the point

It's proabably worth allowing *all* the amx options on the CZ server as soo often you need to dish out some pain to people.

Sorry guys. My time is limited at the moment but I will get round to sorting out the CZ server.

Slapping is not necessary tbh. Just warn/kick/ban.

Kicked 2 peeps from the CZ server this afternoon. John - who came back and turned out to put a decent effort into playing TCS with me and Squonk and some other guy who I don;t recall.

With the new CZ admins do they have rcon or are they just enabled on AMX....? and can they see this ??

They have no rcon access, they have limited AMXX access.

Another Q

Have you gave them any Guide lines to follow?
As ive had 2 of them asking can i do this can i do that..

eg:
1 Can i kick peeps with high pings <_<
2 How do i control the bots
etc etc
