Ice Hawk

I don't exactly rate him as a rogue but I supose this is where we discuss people not honoring the way of TCS.

Almost every round last night (and for several weeks) Ice Hawk has been on his sneak and frag fest like he used to do with CIGS. He never sticks with the team call (he does go in the same general direction, only well behind) and if it's a rush he hangs back, and if his team get killed off spends the rest of the round sneaking around picking off the opposition. He must have been in that same position 8 times last night over the hour I played on MH.

I don't doubt his skill and ability, but he has no teamplay morals unless he is playing a match (I assume).

Should he not be seting an example and sticking with his team as a full Charlie member? There are obviously others like that but at least once in a while they go on a charge with the team (e.g. Red and Armitage who appears to have gotten back into CS).

It does my nut in after a while to have to watch him sneaking around for 3 minutes each round after abandoning his team to the slaughter.   :eyebrow:

I think the best way to do this is a few and regular on screen messages whilst in game on the server.  Something along the lines of:

'Being last to die once is good luck, twice is coincidence, but being last too often probably means you are not backing up your team.'

'TCS - can you provide support to your team mates from your current position?'

I am sure I can precis something (given time) but hope the examples help.  And yes, it does my head in too at times......

I almost mentioned Duval but thought you'd all shout at me. Now that the Big Enchilada has mentioned him I'll chip in too  

The usual offenders do have a habit of stretching the concept of scouting forward to the limits. A cynic might argue this was a brazen frag hunt.

Might it be worth reinforcing the TCS method, maybe get someone to write a few tutorials about applying TCS to certain maps or game play situations?

Tbh I think DA is the biggest problem of the three but I agree with all posted above. They have at times been difficult in matches as well. I will bark at them on the servers when they don't behave.
