Tournament Structure

OK, we now have 24 peeps signed up and this allows me to set the tournament structure.  All things being equal, this is what we will run with.

We will have 4 team of 6 people.
We will use a league structure with each team play the other teams (3 matches).
The 2 teams ranked 1st and 2nd in the league after each team has played each other will then play in the 'Final' for the 'Dusty Bowls' bragging rights.
The 2 teams ranked 3rd and 4th in the league will play each other in a consolation final with the winner taking the third and final podium place.

This will mean each team will play 4 matches during the afternoon so please make sure you are there for the whole thing and don't have to leave your team half way through the afternoon.

All weapons allowed except for shields.  Shields are banned and must not be used.

As for team selection I was thinking of holding a 'draft' with 4 nominated team captains picking in rotation until they have a full squad.  What do peeps think?

I don't think I can make it. However, if it turns out I'm avail on the day I'll turn up on spec. if I get a game great if not then no probs.

MR12 = Max Round 12 i.e. 12 rounds are played on each side. That means that you could have a tied match.

Sorry for late reply but can the admins make a post ie TL, sadako or oldbloke reminding peeps to get buyscripts as we don't want valuble seconds wasted buying equipment, as tl has many a time moaned about
