JAS!!!! Would you mind jumping in to be the BFV saviour?

We need keygens or cracked copies plus the no CD cracks for all games - except LFS which we will run at the free version (unless JAS advises otherwise).

JAS's version of BF:V works fine with patch...keygen. I also have a disc so is also avail at the LAN (curtosy of JAS)

Okey Dokey.

I have UT 2004 but only as an iso not an installable disc. So it will need a disc emulator like Daemon tools or Alcohol 120% to run. This could make installing it on 40 odd PC's a bit of a chore. If we can get hold of an installable disk life might be a lot easier?

That would do it.

We would still need to provice a noCD hack as the game needs the disk to be in the drive in order to play. I have both a CD keygen and a replacement noCD .exe.

They both work with my (non legit) copy of the game, but I have never tested them on-line (obvioulsy) nor with other copies of the game.

3.8 gig DVD ISO
Patch #1&2 combined (3236)
Replacement ut2004.exe (no CD hack)
keygen (plus one printed cd key)

which according to the developer

Oddly I've patched to version three and although the ut2004.exe has been overwrittten it still doesn't ask for a CD to be inserted? Which is confusing. I'll bring the lot and we can decide on the day? Although I'd be happy if someone else brought a copy too as relying on one dodgy copy might be an issue.

On the second Patch it removed the need for the Cd to be in the drive.

More fool Epic then, and hurrah for us.

The only people who might come unstuck are people who either don't have a DVD drive or have one that doesn't accept DVD+R's. I guess they'll have to leech it off me.

Just remember about BF:V...... Jas's disc has all the seperate disc's as cue and bin files so if people dont have something like daemon tools there could be a problem.

I am going to try making discs out of these. (1 set so far)

Not really most people had all the games installed and running last time and tbh we only have 4 official games.

1.) Steam which everyone will have updated
2.) UT2004 a game which was used at the last lan so only newbies may need it.
3.) BF:V As above and i have the discs.
4.) LFS which i doubt will get that many people playing.

Therefore more time at the bar

In a fit of unusual forward thinking i have put any apps needed to insatll a game on the disks

deamon (if thats how its spelt)
Teamspeak...server and client
Dcc+ thing that benny was on about using

If you can think of anymore let me know burning will begin tomorrow afternoon
