Penfold

To TL, Oldy and everyone else for such a fun weekend.

We had a blast -  great to put faces to names (even the ugly ones  :narnar: ) and it was good to get some straight hardcore action (errr gaming) in...

Great organisation, great venue, great people ...

More the same please for LAN VII  :)

Cheers

PEN (x2)

PS... Cheers Niel and Jamoe for all the help - heh you guys really drew the short straw on the seating plan :)

Sn00ks

Yeah another good one. Thanks TL, OB, Stryker et al.  :dribble:

Hope Missus Pandragon didn't get to see too much 'action'  :lmfao:
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Jamoe

Niel fitted the hardcore i mean harddrive i just watched ;)

Cheers all (specialy the chap/s that helped me get on the network, and benny's server :D )

and sorry to anyone that i didnt get a chance to say byebye too :)

Liberator

Yeah, good time had all around.

My first, but not my last (if you'll put up with me again).

As for Benny's server....... I hope Bridget gets a bit of a rest now, what with here small stature and all......

DuVeL's camera worked better than the CS flashbangs....... Git!  :D

FrEnZy's body count on our match game was 100% of the kills. Strange that.  :lmfao:

Haha, it was a blast. Sorry for TKing you that much Liberator, you know you loved it  :winkiss:

Frenzy was really playing good yeah although the other Frenzy wasn't playing that good ;) . One Frenzy seemed to be hacking though (probably the real Frenzy   )

For the rest, excellent LAN again. I now know, Beer and Whine don't mix that good. Although it was an excellent Merlot MonkNightWay m8.
To bad though that I couldn't get my portable harddrive to work, where's Sadako when you need him.....(Thanks for the try Ninja).

Also thanks to the rest of the onStella guys. I had some great laughs playing together with you guys in the matches.

DA thanks for the lift m8 from and to the airport. I got back home at 01.00 English time.  :(

Hopefully untill the next LAN!!!!!!

OldBloke

Thanks for making the LAN the success it was guys. The new venue was indeed a good choice and thanks go to TeaLeaf for the research and the hard bargaining on the price.

As usual it was the efforts of many dMw members that contributed to the success of the event. There were people who made sure we had the latest patches on CD and DVD, people who setup the room, the network gurus, the seating plan executive, the server builders, the prizes donators, the computer repair men, the purveyors of strange moving pictures, the bar staff, the waitresses, the wine salesman, the long distance attendees, the dMw beer glass committee, the lift-sharers, the air-con terrorist, the siamese twins incident ... I'll stop there.

In other words, typical dMw .... TEAMWORK. :D

Give yerselves a big ol' pat on the back. Top team indeed.

Yes I'll just add my thanks to all those who did the hard work.  I may have a machine made up for the next LAN with 4 nics all bound to one 400Mbit/s channel.  I think that would prove very handy for storing all the patches etc that are inevitably needed by those attending, me included
