Popping bye to say 'hi'.  Glad to see everything is back up and running with the forums!  

Life has been very good, except that everyone in the house is sick right now.  Finished wiring a service panel in the attic, lights and outlets.  Moved my guitar stuff up there just in time for the cold weather to hit, so now it's 'we need to insulate' time.  It's great to have a play area in our house though :)  CAT5 was run up there, so I plan to move my linux server up sometime in the near future.

One of the reasons I've been AFK is I landed a new job!  No more Mr. Manager for me, I'm back to being a tech as a Systems Analyst at a local hospital.  It's great, the people are nice, scored some more money, the commute is 15-20 minutes round trip vs the previous 45-60 mins and I'm out by 4:30PM.  Working on all types of systems, using things I learned in school and finally expanding on things, where my last job had me learning a proprietary piece of gear.  Finally experience I can use elsewhere.

Our daughter Erin is doing great and she said my first name this past week ("What's my name?" --- 'Miii...ke') .  I was in heaven!
