What version do you prefer

My favorite version of CS so far would be 1.3 (the 1st version of CS I played), but as for the vote i'd have to say CZ then 1.6. I hated 1.5, the reg seemed to be terrible for me - I almost gave up playing due to it, & CS:S just feels wrong when I play it atm.

So, either CZ or 1.6, I don't mind which, aslong as its with ppl I know & not a bunch of tools you usually find on public servers I'm happy.

Weather with rain and wind accompanied with their sounds are of course cool but imho CSS is much closer to Raven Shield and other "realistic" games. CS (in my eyes at least) were not out to be that realistic and I think it has gone a bit too far in the case of CSS. Looks are not everything. Gameplay and flow is something CSS need to improve immensly until it reaches the heights of CS/CZ.

I have thought about this vote for a few days and came to the conclusion tht cs was the original game i played and loved! Cs 1.6 improved this and i remember playing it on the first few days with duvel and i loved it! Now however i am not to sure CZ is not to my taste, yes i bought it but its not my kind of game its basically missing something. Ok the graphics are better than 1.6 but for some reason the new concepts don't grasp me as much as the original 1.6 don't call me old thinking but i prefer the old cs style! The graphics are out dated i know but it just feels the right way to play and many feel this way compare the amount of servers to all three games 1.6 still has the most. Source is realistic as sadako earlier said and i agree. It my opinion too realistic. The concept of cs was to be realistic but not to the realism i feel they have now achieved.  You are dead in less shots than 1.6 i feel and it does need a severe polish. Cs 1.6 has my vote and until the rest can match it despite the new ideas of physics which do wear off after a while i stick to the mama.
