TCS = CS:CZ

Ladies and Gentlemen,

After very careful considerations by the dMw admins we have decided that we will no longer be offering CS1.6 on our gaming servers.

As from Sat 8th Jan 2005 we will be converting all of our servers to Condition Zero (also known as CS:CZ or just plain CZ).

We sincerely hope you will support us in this decision as we honestly feel there are major gaming advantages to be had by making it.

Our servers will be presented as such ...

'The MeatHook' (27015) will become our main password-protected TCS CZ server.
Homer (27016) will become our second password-protected TCS CZ server.
Baldric (27017) will become our CZ match server.
Razer (27018) will be our public CZ server.

Even though CS:Source has been with us for a while now we think that it's still an immature product and will hold off any decision to move across to it until we feel happy that the major issues we have with it in it's present form have been resolved.

Please remember to follow the TCS ethos when on the public server - you know it makes sense

Depends if those bots keep rushing with AWM's and autosnipers.

Another question though, will we still have matches on CS 1.6 in ED? Or is that history 2?

We can limit weapons for bots ("rcon bot_allow_snipers 0" does the trick)

I think that's gone but let's wait for OB and TL to confirm in case I'm totally wrong - don't throw your CS1.6 files away yet

Our focus is on TCS at the moment and as far as that's concerned it's CS:CZ only as from Sat.
