Ideally, I'm looking for one which doesn't need power - but it needs to be at least 80gig so I can back up my office stuff?

Just to drag it horribly back on topic, Medusas arrived today(super service :))

However,

Bloody things were useless! Plagued by a continuous, rapid repeating buzz. You could either drown it out with volume or pull the plug! Mic didn't work, did it Paddy? :(
Shame, it promised so much.

Sounds like you have some issues with your soundcard. Did you buy the USB one or not?

Make sure the control box is not within 8-12 inches of any speakers or computer, mine buzz's if I sit it  to close to the comp or  bass box. I know the lead stop is not much longer than this but you should be able to manage it.

Hi DA,

I'm also looking at getting some of these next month, they are supposed to be superb quality. Can you confirm? Do you mind me asking where you got them from and how much you paid?
I've seen some PC 155/150(?) for 50 quid (normally 85 from OC) from a reliable source on ebay

DarkAngel

THe Quality is excellent they are superb at listening to music and great for bf2 :)

I got them from America and got my sister to ship them over they were on sale at the time at $79.99 around £50 as they still retail in the uk for around £100  :(

here they are :),
