I'd be a great medic I reckon.

BlueBell: "Medic MEDIC!"
A Twig: "Coming!"
BB: "Doc me arm's gone!"
AT: "Fire with the other one then, I'm a busy man!"

I can see it now!

Disclaimer: My choosing BB for the patient in no way reflects his lack of ability to stay alive in any given FPS at any given time, no definitely doesn't, honest....  :P  ;)

This game is brilliant. The potential for organised teamwork is immense.

Now all we need is a server full o' Dead Men to take advantage of it.

...and voice comms or are they working now?

Oh and only use vehicles for transport (no shooting from them)

Well that seems like a bit of a waste of the game to me. Vehicles are an integral part of the gameplay. Take that away and I think you'll find people losing interest pretty quickly.

I agree that maybe when there are only two or three aside then vehicles are a bit redundant, but with full teams they are essential for maximum tactical play.

As I said in  an earlier post its early days yet and itll take us a while to find what style of gameply fits in with TBF :)

maybe we could make helicopters compulsory so that OB dies every round ;)

Hi guys. I haven't got the game (yet). But you might want to have a look here: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/. They are also sorting out some TBF2

Anybody up for a BF2 night Sunday. may be we could pw the server and see if we can add some tsc rules to see what we can do.

one suggestion would be to have the respawn rate as slow as possible

I find with 2 or 3 per side that vehicles are very important to get you between flags fast. That or you come to an agreement not to capture any flags and have some air-combat practice or tank wars... I recall the days of bf1942 and attempting to have a knife round to deide rounds - not terribly compatable with the game I have to say, knife rounds! :roflmao:

Vehicles are just another part of the game. Vital to get you to the action quickly (though with the seargent being a mobile spawn point there are other options!) and oh so satisfying to take out when you're infantry. You just have to learn not to shoot at everything that moves, then as long as you can hide from the passing vehicle you're free to be a cunning infantryman

Not true.  Benny and I were able to communicate on VoiceComms last night.  And I think Hippy had his working as well.

Go in to the Options and do the test.  You may need to click the MIC gain on, and fiddle with the levels a bit, but it's definitely working.

Edit: Hang on - I've just had a thought.  Benny and I were in the same squad last night, so maybe VoiceComms is purely between squad members, and the Commander can broadcast to all?

Here’s a nice tip guys:
Throw a support-crate near the enemy so that they think their commander dropped it.
Then ask on the exact same spot an artillery bombardement.
