GM as a UKCSL admin? Mmm, does this mean he will be working under the auspices of dMw or what. Given his track record of foot/mouth interface errors I'm not quite sure how comfortable I am with the idea of him demonstrating an alignment to dMw. Maybe he'll be fine? Who can say? But I do feel uncomfortable about it.

Oldbloke and I are aware. He is not working under the dMw name and Imy is aware.

I am somewhat disappointed that he is appended to dMw's list of players, so I have deleted him form the membership list to avoid any sort of confusion. I do not know how he got there in the first place.

That makes me feel more comfortable. Cheers. TBH I hope he does well (he deserves a break of some sort) I just didn't feel comfortable with the possibilities though.

Several Charlie Company members had noticed your listing and rightly commented and this is yet another reason why I believe your Admin role at UKCSL should be distinct from your dMw membership. Therefore please do not use the dMw wings in your name when you admin for UKCSL. Likewise if your registered name is -=[dMw]=-GhostMjr then may i suggest you edit it to just GhostMjr? There has been enough confusion already over this and I want to minimise the opportunity for any further confusion.

I hope you see this the same way, but please understand where I am coming from if you do not. I have my 'dMw Leader' hat on here and am trying to do what I see is best for the community and those who know it.

Finally, PLEASE, make sure you know how to Admin a server before doing any official duty, for both your and our sakes. If you need help then for god's sake ask either oldbloke or me before you trip over your own inexperience and land flat on your face

I got no problem with that. If it wasn't for this stupid Zyxel router I'd change the rcon pw on my server and let him play to his hearts content so he doesn't embarras himself or us.

I seem to remember the UKCSL post saying that no previous admin experience required as training would be given so if anything comes back to haunt us we can always cast this back in their faces

As for his training ...

I believe that Imy has setup a script for his admins. They use binds to administer the match. Any conflicts are dealt with afterwards using the admin's report and HLTV. This means little or no RCON experience is needed.

As an aside ... he told me that both his matches were non-starters due to the problems people had using ssClient. <_<
