QuoteApplication for Membership of Charlie Company

PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW INFORMATION AS FULLY AS POSSIBLE

Proposer:Gh0sty
Seconded by:Rizzy
Seconded by:Benny

Your gaming name:Norm
Your real name:Peter Byrne
Age:36
Sex:Male
Country:UK
Date of birth:31-03-68

Please tell us a bit about yourself. For example, how long you have been playing CS/CZ/CS:S, what interests do you have outside the playing of computer games, what do you do (work/education etc) and any other information you feel would be helpful in order for our members to get to know you.

Not sure which version it was but sniper spot ct side on Dust had a bit missing out of the wall as you looked down the undepass.Outside of computer games I keep koi carp, ride motorcycle trials(not so much now,as I break alot easier),cooking and housework! Panel beater by trade, went to university, degree in mech eng, although into 3rd year when realised it wasnt what I wanted to do! Presently running business building high quality custom pc's.Married, two daughters, two cats and twenty koi carp(who all have names).

In your own words, how would you explain TCS to an outsider?

TCS is the style of play where individual skill is unimportant but teamwork is everything, and is used at all times to acheive map objective.

What type of player do you think is attracted to TCS?

Players who value other team members, can react to a situation or a call quickly, enjoy being part of a team, sacrafice themselves if it means map objective will be accomplished and enjoy the chat dureing games .

In the previous question, which of those traits best describe you?

Enjoy being part of a working team, will sacrafice for map objective and enjoy the chat.

Which do not best describe you?

At present I find it difficult to react to a situation sometimes,as I have mis-heard/not understood a call as I find it hard to understand certain people.

Why do you wish to become more involved in our community? Please state which aspects of the next Company appeal to you.

Its not so much about the aspects of what the next company gives me,its more of a statement of commitment on my part to the dMw/TCS way.I would like to become more involved as I would enjoy helping the community with any issues or problems.

How do you think you would add value to the dMw community if your application is accepted?

As I enjoy talking to people and have the patience of a saint,I can and have spent many hours helping community members on a wide range of questions.I have no other gameing ties and actively promote dMw/TCS.

Have you ever been in a Clan before? If yes then which ones and why did you leave?

PBUK: Poor admins.

Kyodai:First class people, low membership, poor server.I was sad to leave tbh

Which other games do you play?

Transport Tycoon
Tomb Raider
Far Cry
Deus Ex
Aliens v Predators

Do you have any questions for the Admins? (we will endeavour to answer any questions prior to assessing your application)

The completed form should be forwarded by PM to the Charlie Company member who has agreed to propose your application to the Community’s Admins. The Proposer will then forward your application to the Admins for consideration.

Why I am Supporting This Application:

PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW INFORMATION AS FULLY AS POSSIBLE

Proposed: Norm
Your Name:Gh0sty

What do you know about the applicant? For example, how long have they been playing CS/CZ/CS:S, what interests do they have outside the playing of computer games, what do they do (work/education etc) and any other information you feel would be helpful in order for the Admins to get to know the applicant.

I know that Norm has been playing CS for a while(years). Outside of CS/CZ he builds rather good pcs for a living and has done so for a number of members of the clan.

Which character traits of the applicant do you think make them suitable for membership or best describe them?

He is very much a team player and probably the most regular user of our servers, always in good humour and a pleasure to play with.

Which traits do not best describe them?

Can't think of any.

How do you think they would add value to the dMw community if their application is accepted?

He is a damn fine player and a regular contributer to the forums, he is quite willing to offer technical support to those that need it.

Have they ever been in a Clan before? If yes then which ones and why did they leave?

Not spoken to him about it but I see from his application that he has, all the info is there.

Why did you decide to support their application?

I decided to support his application because I feel Norm would make a fine charlie member, he has the right attitude and is willing to help our community grow.

The completed form should be forwarded by PM to either TeaLeaf or Oldbloke so that the Admins can consider the application fully.

I have sent the forms to the Seconders and await their response.  But I've already voted - I didn't need to hear anything else.

I voted yes. Strong player, nice guy. Regular in forums and always willing to give advice to others to help them out. Would be an excellent addition to Charlie IMHO
