Ok, based on the list of components that people were interested in for LAN VII we have come up with an example price list.  Please can we have your feedback and can you let us know if this is the sort of thing you want, or if you would like to place an order for anything.  As Overclockers was mentioned in the original thread their prices have been put in brackets so that you can see the savings available.

I thnk you will agree that these prices offer superb value to the community members, so tell anyone who wants an upgrade to take a peek at this thread!

The terms offered aim to beat any price from Over-clock, Overclockers and Scan, usually by at least 5-10% so they are truly good prices!  (this excludes their 'special offers which are believed to be OEM seconds).  But if you want the cheapest going then the 'Special Deal' prices are likely to be matched but you would be provided with brand new 'A' grade product, not an OEM second.

If we get a nice package of orders together then hopefully the supplier will provide a nice piece of hardware for a prize to be given out at LAN VII.

Now that you know the prices are good, then if you want a quote for a specific component or package then post here and I will try to get one organised.

Finally, who is the mystery supplier?  Well that would be telling wouldn't it!

If the RAM was CAS2 instead of CAS2.5 (I think Geil do a not-much-more-expensive pair of cas2?) would that hike the price much? On that note, would it make a big difference anyway?

I would like a 300gb hard drive please. However if cheaper the other alternative may is cheaper that will be my first choice aslong as the specs are better or equal to the maxtor drive
