Problems with LAN network

Thanks BB, it worked!!! We had for example: red-white-blue at one end and also on the other end. My bro is a techinician and thought it should be the same, seems to be the other way around. Thanks, we got it solved now.

It has something to do with interferens i heared.

The interference you talk about,is what is commonly called "Cross talk" from when you could overhear other peoples conversationns on another phone.The cables are paired into a double helix configuration to help neutralise this interference from the magnetic energy it produces and from surrounding electrical equipment.In theory it is suppose to erradicate,in practice it reduces it to a large degree.

We do get the message now: restricted (translated from Dutch, not sure if it's correct) connection.

So basicly my internetconnection comes out of the livingroom (groundfloor), to the attic (second floor) and then from the attic (second floor) to the kitchen (groundfloor).

Edit it's not: restricted connection, but: partial connection or no connection

Nah m8, that's my computerroom. All my furniture for moving out is in there. The only thing missing is a fridge for some beer but my mom wouldn't let me put one up there because then I wouldn't come down anymore.

I want to finish school first before I move out. Hopefully in a year I'll be moved out.
According to my mom I should make some quality time for the family aswell. I got my brothers in CS, who's next? My mom?  :ph34r:
