Some really good stuff on that link.

1. How to remove the time limit from the demo.
2. How to disable those start movies :D

My biggest tweak to BF2 will be when I install it for the first time upon release.......hopefully play.com will post it out to me real quick :)

Nice find though OB

any ideas which files to rename in the full version to skip intro screens as they are different to the ones in the demo?

Is there any command to stop the start-up crap and go straight to the game?
You can normally add a few lines in your shortcut to miss them out.

I renamed the original movies folder in the BF2 dir (just added Orig in front) and dropped the movies folder from this in there instead.

Ok just spent nearly a full day getting a customers rig to run BF2,what a bast***.
Do all the usuall, defrag, latest drivers(audio driver corruption was main problem for this rig, causing a hard lock). Then go to the link in the first post, get diskeeper and follow instructions on page file setting and moveing. Its worth the effort, speeds everything up no end, stops certain crashes and gets you into the game quicker.Pagefile set at 1024 with max also set at 1024(thats for 1024 ram).Is it possible to have some where for problems and fixes,so we can all check and cure. :D

On the right hand side of the web page you can see "PC" (black text on light blue background)
Click on A-E just below where it says "Game Index"
