As of now "have been away for a some weeks already" I will enter the world of Star Trek Online, WoWs spacious counterpart, a bit funny theres actually ALOT of similarity between the two, apart from the fact that its a space game. Anyway being a trekkie I decided to give STO a firm go. Im signing off from WoW untill Cataclysm hits the market.

Could be in for a long brake from WOW. atm. we are well into christmas frenzy, busy with baby stuff, family visits and all that. On top of this we are relocating to a new house after new year. I hope to see you in the future. Sadly I dont even miss WOW, but I kinda hope that will pass..

Yea hope ur still around mate, kinda sad to see the best dps in guild leave us. But to reply to Tealeafs note also.  As far as i know and from what Dee told they are doing heroic mode instances and do so quite well.  Honesly i think we need to reconsider the earliers post about this heroic subject. Several ppl in guild have put up wishes bout heroic mode runs and we still talk bout it. Im affraid more ppl will look elsewhere unless we start doing something bout it. most of us are top specced (except for a gun....sigh) but somehow we struggle with too many top specced ppl with low output heal or dps wise.

Ive said this before, I really think the only way to progress into heroic mode is an alternate ELITE DMR guild with kinda like the BID thing we have implemented in raids. U earn points by participating AND from ur performance hence if ur not performing u get kicked back to non elite DMR guild. Ofc. im not aware of the micromanagment and overhead from officers on this but maybe its worht considering this option??

We pretty much cut through the 10man with ease, now so why not go for heroic. But id like to point out straight away that this is obviously NOT for alts or low dps/heal ppl. I wont point at ppl but u know ur stats n abilities DONT join just to get boosted through heroics, otherwise im sure ppl will point u out......I know I will..

FYI! Just wanted to say that, being rather busy with little one i hope its ok I continiusly sign up for raids, but unfortunately miss out on most of them. Well most of u know the reason. Anyway I hope to be able to raid again very soon as babytime gets a bit more structured leaving me with a bit of time for WOW. I have and will be pugging both TOC and uld 10 and 25 although i know its against the rules, but i gotta grab my wow time when i can atm. and i need to keep up gearwise, untill im raid material again. Give it a week or 2 then im ready again i hope.

Make Voa25, Onyx25 calender raids, non pugging events. I really wanted this for a looooong time. Now we got the excuse to do it. Onyx25 so 2 quick raids in one night. Let people pug 10 man if they want..

Very interesting reading i must say..

Jumped a few replies so i might repeat other ppls. comments, for a start, i totally agree with Garrit, ive too often been really frustrated on some of our raids, bosses that went down easily the week before become a wipefest. Honestly I do make noob mistakes sometimes, i think we all do, but generally the problem is people NOT looking at utube videos for the bossfights..Thats one primary mistake among too many people i think.
 Secondly i see some, not alot but a good handfull of people or more that seriously underperform, despite their excellent gear. Solution? Well theres 2 and a half here.
1 lets be honest, at least the officers knows whos is underperforming, DONT invite them for raids. Its harsh i know but it doesnt take more than 2-3 underperformers to ruin a raid evening. DONT invite them simple as that. We have a good 30-40 people online on raid nights now, if its still not enough invite a few more good players to guild.
2 I know theres already some macro info on site, but maybe we need to elaborate to people on those macros for diffrent toons. I dunno maybe some training evenings. I got tought by a Hunter named Fragga. He spent a whole hour training my shot rotations. I myself skipped macros completely since i noticed an increase in dps, but for others they might be salvation, who knows.
And that last half i really dont want to see happening, we make a DMR elite guild. for the elite performers, maybe an option for people to swap back and forth as gear, time, RL etc. allows..point it u gotta make urself earned to stay there. Backside is it might split the guild totally hence why i dont really want this option.

We have a couple of names we like but we think its gonna be Victor. Since my wife is Ukrainian and Im Danish so we kinda wanted a name that was known to both countries...
