Quote from: Chaosphere;444319Yeah, I have uninstalled. I tried to go back after my previous post, was just wandering around not actually having any fun anymore so... just like you, I'll likely give it another bash down the road.

Overall, what a disappointment of a game. The hype really hurt this one, imo.

Didn't you post earlier on your Monitor topic that you were liking the 60fps you got with the new monitor? Or is this just a case of the game being underwhelming?

I played the first 30 minutes today and so far it's fine. Not worth shelving quite yet.

im nipping on every now and again...didnt play it as much as i would liked as it is a bit shallow in places, but have had none of the bugs at all

What I meant by this was the game feels much better to play with GSync, due to its abysmal performance and horribly variable framerate. Without Gsync, it is up down up down up down - it's jarring. With GSync these changes are much smoother, leading to a much better experience.

The game is still naff either way. It's just slightly better feeling naff with GSync.

Yep on 1440p I was getting a solid 25 FPS.... wow. But at least was consistently glacial. And that says more about my woefully out of date GPU than anything wrong with the actual game. As others have said it wasn't the bugs, or the dumb AI or even they cynical way the Developer did a "Hello Games" on us. It was more that once the eye candy has worn off, the main story arc was very meh! Every time I sat at my PC there was always some other game I would rather play.

Also you can see little hints and clever touches that at one point this was going to be a really great game. But only if it had released in 2022

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Yes. I completed it and got a few of the endings. I had a brilliant, bug-free ride. But I take it I was the exception.

Genuinely, I enjoyed 95% of what I played. Was a good game with good story IMO.

I found it fine in terms of bugs as well. A few issues but once you experience a bug one time you just don't do that again.

I loved the storyline. I have 2 issues. (Non-spoilers). Having a point of no return then a run to the finish line was a shame. Then basically being transported to the moment before the point of no return like nothing had happened  was disappointing.

I tried each ending, they put a lot of effort into these. Sort of would have liked to keep the drops from the ending I chose to go with but lots of items were missing.

However, 116h of gameplay says it all.

Yeah, 116 hours isnt to be sniffed at. Glad you enjoyed it. I think overall it was still well received, but I personally found it lacking as I describe in one of my earlier posts here. This didn't really have much to do with the bugs/performance, but the game itself.

Regardless, it will remain on my list of 'to try again' games down the road, ideally when I have upgraded my rig.

Didn’t play it after about 8 hours, only cause the mrs said “if you are home on holiday you  are not spending the entire time at the computer”, been back a week so the intention is to carry on with the game as soon as I d/l it
