Nothing planned yet and this year we are allegedly staying at home for xmas (first time for me since about 1987) so I'll make the tourney (whatever we play)

Will it be primarily consisting of alpha/bravo/etc.. versus each other, or a mix? Do we sign up? And of course, will it be in BF2 at all? Or just CZ?

It's a question of organisation and logistics.

CZ tourneys are hard work because they involve multiple teams playing multiple matches on multiple servers. Getting everything up and running and then keeping it running for the whole afternoon is a huge undertaking, particularly as the organiser also tends to be one of the players. Mucho respect to TeaLeaf for doing this on many occasions.

BF2, on the other hand, can handle 64 players with maps to suit. It would be fairly simple to organise squads of six people spread over the two factions playing either a single huge campaign on one map or a series of smaller skirmishes. Players could then dip in and out of the battle as necessary.

If we were to run both then they would need to be on different days and organised by at least two willing volunteers.
