Are we all still enjoying BF2?

Because BF2 doesn't have a lobby where we can all say 'good night' or have a chat after the game it's sometime hard to tell whether people are really in a good mood or not!

...OR we get some feedback on the forum the next day, but that can sometime turn into a dry analysis of this or that tactic...

So, just thought I'd ask if everyone is still enjoying BF2?

I certainly am, having a great time with you guys - and there are guys who certainly make me laugh.

None of the novelty has worn off yet, and I still look at it as a bit of a 'social' event even though we are all some distance apart ~ sometimes it's just like going to the pub with your mates - er, but staying at home! LOL

Anyway, just wanted to say - thanks for a great time, and the laughs...And especially for putting up with my funny little ways on both the server and the forum.

I'm looking forward to this Christmas holidays to seeing a bit more of you lot online - and especially the 31st Dec. thing.

I hope everyone is still enjoying BF2 as much as I am ~ which I have to say is to do with the fantastic company.

Here's to a very festive holiday of shooting, maiming, tea caking and C4ing!

Merry Christmas!

i certainly am- and i must say the experience has improved a hundred fold since i met you lot - i cant thank ranger enough for rescuing me from the hell of public servers with bouncing/diving targets and no comms!!!

i was actually going to post a message a bit like this but didnt know where to put it - as the festive season is upon us and i drag my ass round the country visiting inlaws - Rutland, and parents - Leeds, i wont be on between 25 and 30 december so...... merry christmas to all at DMW, especially to those that shoot me on a regular basis or those on my team that laugh at my inept attempts at 'soldiery'- it really is great here

I'm not cos I cant play online at all at the mo. Laptop isn't powerful to get decent lag-free online play. At Uni where the uber-connection would help things a bit, I can't play because they dont open enough ports.  :ranting:

Bummer mate...

Our uni is the same (Paddy, Dewey, 9Slice and I work in a uni) - they have closed down every port other than those absolutely necessary!

Boooo!

Y'know, that always unsettled me a tad. Not the terrorist angle because the American army is fighting the Chinese or, presumably, the Iraqi/Iranian army. Not something I can put my finger on........

EDIT: Not that I worry about that once the action starts. :D

To be honest I have always looked at the game the other way...

Having Chinese and MEC factions gives Chinese and Middle Eastern game players a chance to pick on the good old USA!

There are always two ways of looking at things...

Personally I prefer to play MEC.

So I don't really think it's a case of being unfair - if you could ONLY play USMC that would be unfair!

im not enjoying it, i havent played it in a while because...

1) i purchased BF2 had to update it several times (why dont they get it right the first time?)
2) you have to have updated versions to play on good servers...
3) special forces is released, have to go buy that so i can play with the likes of dMw

You do not need SF. But.......stay where you are on CZ, we don't want you to be the scourge of BF2 as well!  :D
