With the new Militia map we have a LOT of visitors to the server ALL the time ....can we put a banner across the screen which will unashamedly point them in the direction of our webby (same as our welcome on the MR12 settings)??..and hence onto here ...as we may entice more new players around to how its supposed to be played ..

and one more thing ...  how much longer should we leave it just running Militia ...I know its ok ATM as its always full ...but ya can only play one map for so long before you've had enough ..

So can we set the server elves to work so that at every map change .the dMw banner comes up and advertises our webby ..and/or the forum  and I will bind a key to advertise the same ...for when I am on there ( which isn't as often as I'd like ...but anyone else could do the same ) ...hint, hint

Ok two points on my behalf to be made.

1. we need people for folding which is a necessity as we are loosing ranks so how about a banner on the server saying?
Would you like to help cancer research if so go to ........ for our deadmen folding page for more info on how to join our team! Obviously this banner needs work as it needs to be short.

2. I don't know if everyone has noticed but The Boomer server is getting very busy. Now I am a person, like any other dmw member who wants our servers to be kept clean of language and any unpleasant misbehaviour on our servers. Please can at least one person who has some form of admin rights cover the server. I haven't seen any dmw members on the public server except a full server of public players the last few days. I would at least join to post any problems but my laptop at uni is not powerful enough so unfortunately i can't.  I hope players are enjoying themselves thats all i care about

As with ALL the servers there is always someone available through the normal methods ....msn / xfire / alt, tab out of game and quick entry on forum either in the behaviour on publics section or pm'ing ...

OB, BB and myself have all been on Boomer this week to deal with various issues regarding items raised in your post ...we ARE aware and ARE  trying to do something about it.

Once I get the hanging problem in CS:Source fixed, I'll be on it a lot more.
 
One thing that's missing from the admin menu that we used to have on the CZ one, was the ability to send admin type messages.  I was on for a while the other night (between hangs) and could only talk to others using the normal chat which isn't too good when someone is swearing like a trooper and your dead.

Yeah, agreed ...and it does tend to restrict you having to wait for the guilty one to die first before explaining to them the rules ..

I'll have a look to see what you can do but I think there is somethnig that allows this - will check tonight.

PS If I'm working on the computer I keep an eye on Boomer using HLSW. It's got to the funny stage now where people go "Oh Oh lookout Console's back better behave"
