AQ/ZG Schedule

Firstly a quick reminder about the raid signups which will be in effect for AQ and ZG raids from the 28th of april onwards. The site is at http://sograid.cookiez.co.uk

Now the schedule for raids for the next couple of weeks:


Wednesday 26th April 19:15 - Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj
- Old invite system

Friday 28th April 19:15 - Zul'Gurub
- Signups open now

Wednesday 3rd May 19:15 - Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj
- Signups open from 19:00 Monday 1st of May

Friday 5th May 19:15 - Zul'Gurub
- Signups open from 19:00 Wednesday 3rd of May


Monday raids will take place if there is enough people online, as RG2 raids at the same time.
Saturday raids will be unscheduled as attendance varies

Just a small comment on the signup times:

I'd suggest that you start signup a bit later on the days, cause at 09:00 there are quite alot of (at least the older guild members) that are at work, and I can only guess that many who are working don't have access to/don't have time to surf the internet during work hours.  This will leave them with an unfair disadvantage compared to those who have internet access 24/7 (such as myself - not that I'll ever be able to tell one day in advance wether I'm gonna have time for a raid or not, but that's a whole different story )

So how about you set the signup time to 18:00 or 19:00?  I think 24 hours in advance will be more than enough for the signups

I think this is a good way to arrange AQ/ZG.

If people log on to the page and find out the raid is full please use the queue. If we are enough people on queue we could start a second raid?

Hey bob, valid reasoning! I wanted to try it in the morning but its probably not set early enough to allow people to sign up before work, maybe 8:00 would be a better time. I guess we can try different times and see what works best!

Exactly nefrion, one of the reasons we started looking at these kind of systems was so we'd know how many people would be available, opening up the possibility for a 2nd raid Currently we have a full raid for ZG signed up, and 4 people in reserve, with 4 days still to the event!

I have to strongly disagree on that morning signup time too..Do some people have to leave work and visit a library to sign up for a wow raid at mornings? Or do i need to get a cellphone which supports that page? :/

Dont forget timezones, too.

we're gonna change the time to 19:00 for the opening of signups, i would edit my post but the forum settings prevent this Could an officer please edit it for me?

Was just wondering what timer the raidsignup was on?

I just applyed a minute ago (about 13:05) and i says i wrote myself up at 07:02 AM... oookay?

1.  Why do we have only 2 of 3 pallie slots filled AND a pallie in the queue?

2.  Who ate all the damn locks?

When you sign up you get a queue spot, then an administrator of the sites can add the player to the specific class.

Asked Menedil the same question, and that was the answer I got.

1: Because theres 20 slots, and 8 classes, max of 3 per class, = 24... theres going to be a few classses not maxed out. the pally in the queue signed up after the raid was filled.

2: if you find out, we'd love to know

And asmoden, the time is off because the server I have is located in the US, I'll edit it sometime, but right now its not of huge importance just add 6 hours to the time it says, and you get game time.

As a little add from me. A way to do it more fair as it is atm and ppl are talking about atm.

Why not make it as you can only join queue and then the ppl that hold the raid adds ppl to the spot and ppl can check them self if they get into the raid or not.

That way you allso can make so it is not allways the same persons that are in the raid. I mean now it all anyway are on the page the makes can see who was in last and then set them as 2. priority. ofc there will be need of some of the ppl that was in last raid. but then they just get in 3. prioty next time.

That way it shoud be a good rotation for all ppl in my eyes.
