I managed to adapt my wheel to my Sparco and just retained the two buttons. Not the ideal answer but at least I've got my worn in wheel back :)

It's a bit limited though isn't it?

I've been thinking of adding buttons to G25 wheel for quite a long time already. For a few weeks ago I bought a small aluminium box which I was going to attach to the wheel and get 4 extra buttons, but after working with it today for a few hours and seeing that it was gonna be pretty ugly, I went for this solution (see attachment). It adds only two extra buttons, but that's enough: I'm gonna use them for Ventrilo and Pit Speed Limiter.

For these two buttons I'll be running a new wire through the steering column and connect it to the external USB button box. The inner diameter of the steering column is about 5mm and the original wire that goes trough is only about 2mm thick so there's plenty of space for extra cables. Or possibly I'll make all wheel buttons and paddles use the same cable.

I'll be back racing when this is finished, which could mean a few weeks. :)

Did you get the brake mod for the G25.? And if so how is it?

Finally received my brake mod. :eyebrow: My impressions: Installing it was a breeze. :) At the first try it was far too 'solid'. Took the rubber insert out and cut 3mm off and tried again :g:Bingo! The pedal feel is brilliant! :D Romus said to me that he was able to modulate the brakes, I concur. With the standard setup it was all to easy to lock up but now...First class. :thumbsup2: If you have a G25 I have no hesitation is recommending this mod.

Two provisos: One, NIXIM's service leaves a lot to be desired. You may find otherwise. Two: It is desirable to have your pedals fixed firmly to the floor...or something. With the extra pressure you may find they'll tip up.
