We will soon be updating the forum to the recently released v3.6 of vBulletin.

A list of the major changes are detailed here.
You will notice that a lot of the functionality previously requested has been incorporated into this new release.

In addition, there will soon be a subscription model introduced into the community. This community has been extremely lucky to have benefitted from the goodwill of others providing us with free server hosting and bandwidth for which we are eternally grateful. Unfortunately that time has now come to an end and we need to raise funds to cover our costs.

We have decided to set the subscription rate at 1 GBP per month. Yes, only 1 pound per month. So what will subscribers get for their quid?

Well, apart from the CZ, BF2, LfS, GTL, Ventrilo, Teamspeak and forums available to all you will get ....

A 'yourname@deadmen.co.uk' email address.
Priority LAN booking at a reduced rate.
A personal webpage.
Improved forum privileges (details to be confirmed but will include use of the dMw online picture gallery, choice of themes, use of avatar, increased mailbox size and more).

This is an early headsup and more information will be available soon. In the meantime if you have any spare funds then please consider making a donation using our paypal facility available on our homepage.

Does that mean that Tealeaf (with a dog wearing a scarf) will stop trying to sell the Big Issue at LANs?

And perhaps somebody apropriate should make a small link to this post inside at least the WoW section, since there's quite a few folks in there that seldom (or never?) travels outside of those forums?

I'll be up for it. But I prefer paying at the LANs.

I guess that a yearly subscription would be easier to administrate than monthly.

Yup I agree. Yearly or 6 months is easier imho.

Hopefully, I would prefer it that way too unless we can do Direct Debit or something.

It's possible. I've been paying for King and da_Ricci aswell at previous LANs.
